Providing you genuine luxury items and empowering you to spot the real from the fake
Like many sculptors and artists throughout history, we have reimagined Lady Justice as a symbol for what we aim to accomplish at Veritas. Lady Justice represents our mission to advocate for authenticity in luxury fashion and against the normalization of "super fakes".
The blindfold represents justice as being unbiased, not based on appearances or external influences. We too believe that luxury should not be limited to the elite—everyone deserves access to beautiful - and authentic - goods.
Her sword represents not only the power of the law but also our work to combat the sale of counterfeit luxury goods and preying on innocent parties. Just like Lady Justice uses her sword to punish wrongdoing, we use our expertise to combat the sale of counterfeit items, ensuring justice for both consumers and the creators of authentic luxury products.
The scales she holds symbolize balance—whether it’s the balance between evidence and facts in our legal work or, on a more playful level, the choice between different luxury handbags. This can be seen as a nod to the careful, expert decision-making process involved in determining authenticity. The scales also symbolize the larger issue of balancing the harms caused by counterfeit markets—not just to intellectual property holders, but to unknowing consumers who are deceived into buying fake goods. We aim to create a platform for these conversations to raise awareness and educate consumers before they become victims.
Flowers personal to our founder and representative of our mission are woven into the design: the thistle connects to her Scottish heritage, symbolizing strength and resilience, while the butterfly jasmine is a nod to her Cuban roots, representing grace and beauty.
She represents our view on justice: strong yet graceful, and capable of bringing balance and fairness to everyone.
The "Faux-yard" came complete with a fake receipt. Avoid cash-only or Zelle transactions.
